Loved the pod, Cody was an interesting guest, I’d love to know what his role was over there.
Bryan Fogel was just on Joe Rogan talking about The Dissident and I’d highly recommend it. He discusses how none of the major players would stream the documentary, not even Netflix where his Icarus doc had like 800 million views, due to their business ties with the KSA. I’m glad to see Amazon is streaming it now.
Apparently Pegasus is a tool developed by the Israelis that can hack into any phone on earth, and they’ll sell it to anyone willing to pay for it. Scary thought.

One of the girls I grew up next door too, who was probably like 8 years older than me, ended up becoming the head flight attendant and head of all the operations under that for Al-Waleed on his private 747. I think she’s since moved on to working in flight operations for a different prince.
Unfortunately, she lives in Geneva now, when she’s not working, so I haven’t had the opportunity to hear too many stories. But I’ve always wanted to get the full dirt scoop from her. Have to imagine she’s seen some shit. I do remember hearing that the flight staff was always put up in shitty hotels while the Prince and entourage stayed at whichever of the various Four Seasons hotels he owns.

Loved the pod, one of my favorite episodes so far. I’m still in disbelief that the line city is a thing. And I’m definitely going to have to add The Dissident to the watchlist.

AJ’s FF crazy good. We used to hit up the one near DC Ranch on our way out to vista verde to get breakfast and a to go lunch (back in 2008-10 there was no clubhouse out there so it was pretty much byo food and drink). I grew up a midwesterner like @Randy so AJ’s was my first jaunt into a “boujee” grocery store. Worth a mention, Sprouts Farmers Market in old town was a good spot if you are looking for fresh produce at decent prices. Also a solid local and craft beer selection even before the “craft beer boom”. Can confirm that Fry’s was pretty standard as the go-to for regular grocery trips.
Great pod. Loved the knowledge dump, and when TC and Randy said we’ll definitely be hearing more from Mr. Cody soon my first thought is “WHY?”. And I am intrigued.
