Have seen significant discourse on the Rory US Open sighting and not sticking around to congratulate Tommy after the win. Bunch of comments out there saying it’s justified because he shouldn’t be expected to stick around for hours after his round ends to congratulate another player when a text/phone call will suffice.
Won’t comment one way or another because you never know what type of sponsor obligations existed for Rory regarding that appearance. What we do know is what happened when the shoe was on the other foot…
