I’m not sure whether I hate her or love her, but it’s incredible that she went from first golf in 2008 to US Mid-AM in 2011/2012
I’m loving this episode. She has such an incredible story.
is the women’s mid am age different or something?
I didn’t realize but mainly on Twitter there are guys that go around correcting any advertisement or promotion of her that calls her a World Long Drive Champion. Like copy/paste it. Because she just won an event that year, not the actual championship at the end of the year. So she wasn’t the 2017 Long Drive Champion, just an event winner.
What a hobby to have. Can’t imagine caring that much about something like that.
She is truly impressive, from the athletics, to the golf, the Mandarin, the Math & Science… Sounds like she has a great head on her shoulders. Hope to see and hear a lot more from her.
Troy sounded like someone I would really enjoy getting a round in with while at the same time getting completely embarrassed by her amazing ability. Such a likable person.
I think she is awesome
I can not imagine picking up the game that late then three years later qualifying for the Mid-Am. Insane.
I have been a fan of Troy’s for a few years now but when she says the secret to her game is in her hips and legs, I’d implore all of you to look up a photo of her. She’s definitely built for track and it’s obvious where her power comes from.
It’s very impressive. Ton of strength there.
Listened to this pod on a one hour road trip. Had a smile on my face the whole time. What an impressive young woman!!
How could you not Love her?
