Pod: The Open Championship, SVP (Drunk American Low Sunday Round, who?)

Dufner shot a 67 in 2013 paired near YE Yang, KJ Choi and Shingo Katayama…

You might get a bookmaker to lay odds on just about anything, but I think the standard props are head-to-head for each Game. Waldorf getting plastered after an 81 makes good sense to me, but just not sure we can put him in the same pairing with SK Ho.

Good point on him not being flush with cash. Has to be between 97 and early 2000s.

1997 was his first.

Dump the results from the PGA Tour website into Excel, sort by third round score, then sort by total score through 3 rounds and you can get close.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m like 95% sure that Nicklaus made the putt that SVP said he missed on 18 at St Andrews.

Now that I think about it, maybe he’s talking about the 2000 Open when people originally thought it was going to be Jack’s last Open.

He came back in 2005, but TNT must have been on the call because Ernie Johnson was the guy who called Jack making his final putt.

He did. I got confused, I was there (humble brag) so I thought I’d got mixed up.
