They played Pac Dunes in some tough, windy conditions on Friday. Saw them teeing off while my salad was flying off my plate at lunch. Should be a fun episode

Wow, I haven’t thought about Wildwood in years. I used to play it, and liked it a lot, when I lived in Portland. Anybody else been there recently? Wonder how it’s doing.
Agree that Edgefield is a lot of fun. We did a round there for my bachelor party.
Are they confirmed to be going thru central Oregon as well? Saw mentions of Tetherow and Pronghorn above. Tetherow would make tons of sense given the Mclay Kidd connection and that they were at Bandon. Coincidentally I’m headed back to the area in a week and playing both.
central OR would be sick to get some pub. the whole area is seriously underrated

In fairness, this was more of a wishlist thing. I was surprised to find out that even though the North Bend airport is what services Bandon, Bend itself is about a three hour drive from Bandon. Not sure how long this will be but hopefully they do indeed get over to Bend.
agreed, central Oregon is underrated and phenomenal in many aspects, including golf. I’ve been on the east coast for a couple decades now, and all the hardcore golf folks out here I know have either been to Bandon, or of course, know of it intimately and want to go. It’s rare, however, to find somebody that knows about all the good golf (and good livin) in central Oregon.
Feels like they have a pretty good knack for surprising us with at least a couple of the course selections each time, so I’m going to guess there’s at least one more under the radar gem they’ll hit after Bandon before they take off. Just a complete hunch though.
Ah yeah, that makes sense. Different towns/areas, North Bend and Bend. Seems like one would be just north of the other, and not a few hours southwest.

haha, yep. No real reason to visit North Bend, unless you’re on that flight in there to go to Bandon. Plenty of reasons to visit Bend OTOH.

Yes they are going to Bend/Central Oregon. I’ve been told Tetherow is for sure on the agenda and then either Crosswater or Pronghorn.
Looks like they were at Bandon Crossings too
